Our History

Clinton E. Gravely, AIA, Architect and Associates established in 1967 is registered in eight (8) states, the District of Columbia and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. The firm is head by Clinton E. Gravely, a graduate of Howard University and two associates, Frederick DeGraffenriedt and Frances Lewis both NC A&T State University Alumnus.20151006_101358

The practice is very diverse, providing services for a multiplicity of clients. Among it’s clientele are federal, state and municipal agencies, public school systems, universities, colleges, housing authorities, religious entities, profit/ not for profit organizations and private individuals.

The firm has provided services for more than 850 projects, including 185 multi-family housing complexes, 62 private residences, 133 religious facilities, 29 preschool facilities, 43 secondary school facilities, 86 college/ universities facilities and a variety of other facilities.

The firm, while considering budgets is known for creating enjoyable structures in which to live , work, play and worship. Our company takes pride in providing “complete services” devoting concern and attention equally to the various phases from planning to post occupancy.

Services include site analysis, feasibility studies, programming, schematic designs, contract documents, approvals from agencies of jurisdiction, bid process, construction administration, including final inspection, project close out, post occupancy, warranty inspection and appropriate field report and certification.
